Gather a screen, squeegee, emulsion, light source, ink, t-shirts, tape, and a design
Create the design and print it onto a transparent film
Coat the screen with emulsion in a dark area
Let the emulsion dry completely
Place the film on the screen and expose it to light
Wash out the unexposed emulsion to reveal the stencil
Let the screen dry
Place the t-shirt on a flat surface
Insert cardboard or a platen inside the shirt
Align the screen over the shirt
Tape off any open areas on the screen
Pour ink onto the screen
Pull the squeegee across the screen with firm pressure
Lift the screen carefully
Cure or heat-set the ink according to the ink instructions
Repeat for additional shirts
Clean the screen and tools immediately after printing
