Open Discord
Go to the server or direct message where the conversation happened
Click the search bar at the top
Type a keyword, phrase, username, or message content
Use search filters if needed, such as from:, in:, before:, after:, or has:
Press Enter to view matching results
Click a result to jump to that message in the conversation
Use Ctrl+F on desktop only if you want to search within the currently open chat view
Scroll through results to find the exact conversation you need
