Open the Instagram app
Go to your profile
Tap the menu icon in the top right
Tap Accounts Center
Tap Your information and permissions
Tap Upload contacts
Turn on contact syncing if it is not already enabled
Go back to your profile
Tap the menu icon
Tap Discover people
View suggested accounts from your contacts
To see synced contacts, go to Settings and privacy
Tap Accounts Center
Tap Your information and permissions
Tap Access your information
Tap Contacts if available
