Open Telegram and go to the chat
Tap the attachment icon
Select the photo you want to send
Tap the timer icon or set a self-destruct timer if available
Choose the time after which the photo will disappear
Send the photo
For Secret Chats, open the contact profile and start a Secret Chat first
In a Secret Chat, send the photo with a self-destruct timer
For normal chats, use Telegram’s auto-delete or view-once options if available in your app version
Make sure both you and the recipient are using a Telegram version that supports disappearing media
