How To Shred Cabbage?

Remove any wilted outer leaves

Rinse the cabbage and pat it dry

Cut the cabbage in half through the core

Cut each half into quarters if needed

Remove the tough core from each piece

Place a quarter flat-side down on a cutting board

Slice thinly with a sharp knife

Use a mandoline for very even shreds

Use a food processor with a shredding attachment for larger amounts

Separate the shreds with your hands if needed
