Use a lighter or matches
Use a ferro rod and dry tinder
Use a magnifying glass with direct sunlight
Use a battery and steel wool
Use a fire starter block or tinder cube
Use a bow drill with dry wood
Use a hand drill with very dry materials
Use a fire piston if available
Use dry bark, grass, or cotton as tinder
Build a small teepee or lean-to structure around the tinder
Add progressively larger dry sticks once the tinder catches
Keep the fire sheltered from wind and moisture
Have water or dirt ready to extinguish it safely
