Remove all racks, pans, and accessories from the oven
Wipe out loose crumbs and debris
Pour the amount of water specified in your GE oven manual into the oven bottom or steam-clean reservoir, if applicable
Close the oven door
Press the Steam Clean or Clean button on the control panel
Select the Steam Clean cycle, if prompted
Start the cycle
Wait for the cycle to finish and for the oven to cool completely
Open the door carefully
Wipe away loosened residue with a soft cloth or sponge
Dry the oven interior thoroughly
Reinstall the racks and accessories once the oven is fully dry
