Wash bottles and caps with hot, soapy water
Rinse thoroughly with clean water
Place bottles in a large pot and cover with water
Bring water to a boil
Boil bottles for 10 minutes
Boil caps separately for 5 minutes if heat-safe
Remove bottles with clean tongs
Place bottles upside down on a clean drying rack or clean towel
Let bottles air-dry completely
Keep bottles covered or use immediately after drying
