Wash your hands thoroughly
Disassemble the bottle, nipple, ring, and cap
Wash all parts in hot, soapy water
Rinse all parts well with clean water
Sterilize by boiling in water for 5 minutes
Sterilize by using an electric steam sterilizer
Sterilize by using a microwave steam sterilizer
Sterilize by using a dishwasher with a sanitize cycle if approved by the manufacturer
Remove parts with clean tongs or clean hands
Place all parts on a clean, dry surface or drying rack
Allow all parts to air-dry completely before use
Store sterilized bottles in a clean, covered container until needed
