Blow your nose gently
Use saline nasal spray or drops
Inhale steam from a warm shower

Sleep with your head elevated
Apply a warm compress over your nose and sinuses
Avoid smoke, dust, and strong odors
Try an over-the-counter decongestant if safe for you
Use an antihistamine if allergies are the cause
Seek medical care if it lasts more than 10 days, is severe, or comes with high fever, facial pain, or trouble breathing
