Click the Stop button in the menu bar
Press Command + Control + Esc
Press Command + Shift + 5, then click Stop Recording
Click the screen recording icon in the menu bar, if available, then choose Stop
If using QuickTime Player, click the Stop button in the recording controls
If the recording is frozen, open Force Quit and quit the recording app
