Tap Sort by name (if available) and review recently installed/suspicious apps
Tap the suspicious app
Tap Uninstall
If you can’t uninstall, disable it:
Tap Disable (or toggle off)
Open Settings
Tap Apps
Tap Special access
Tap Install unknown apps
Turn off Allow from the source for any app you don’t trust
Open Settings
Tap Security and privacy (or Security)
Tap Device admin apps
Turn off device admin access for any suspicious apps
Open Settings
Tap Notifications
Tap App notifications
Turn off notifications for suspicious apps
Open the Chrome app
Tap More (three dots)
Tap Settings
Tap Site settings
Tap Notifications
Turn off notifications
Tap Pop-ups and redirects
Turn off Pop-ups and redirects
Open Settings
Tap Google
Tap Ads
Turn off Ad personalization (optional)
Open Settings
Tap Privacy
Tap Permission manager
Revoke notification/browser permissions from suspicious apps
Clear browser data (Chrome):
Chrome > Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data
Select Cookies and site data and Cached images and files > Clear data
Run a malware scan:
Install and run a reputable security app (e.g., Google Play Protect)
Open Play Store > Profile icon > Play Protect > Scan
Restart the phone after changes
