Trim the stems
Remove any yellow or wilted leaves
Rinse the cilantro gently
Pat it dry thoroughly
Wrap the stems in a slightly damp paper towel
Place the wrapped cilantro in a plastic bag or airtight container
Store it in the refrigerator crisper drawer
Change the paper towel if it becomes too wet
For longer storage, freeze chopped cilantro in ice cube trays with water or oil
Use frozen cilantro directly in cooked dishes
