How To Store Homemade Bread?

Cool completely before storing

Store at room temperature in a bread box or paper bag for 2–3 days

Keep in a sealed container or plastic bag if your kitchen is dry; leave slightly vented if crust softens too much

Avoid the refrigerator for best texture

Freeze for longer storage: wrap tightly in plastic wrap or foil, then place in a freezer bag

Freeze sliced or whole; label with the date

Freeze up to 2–3 months for best quality

Thaw at room temperature in its wrapping for several hours

Reheat for fresh texture: warm in a 300–350°F (150–175°C) oven for 5–10 minutes

For mold prevention: discard immediately if mold appears

Store different breads separately to prevent flavor transfer
