Turn off the weedwacker and disconnect the power source or remove the battery
Wear gloves
Remove the trimmer head cover
Take out the spool
Cut the correct type and size of trimmer line for your model
Find the line direction arrows on the spool
Wind the line tightly and evenly onto the spool in the correct direction
Leave equal lengths of line at the ends
Thread the line ends through the spool eyelets or exit holes
Reinstall the spool into the trimmer head
Replace the cover and snap it into place
Pull the line ends gently to confirm they feed properly
Reconnect the power source or battery
Test the weedwacker briefly and trim excess line if needed
