Turn off the weedeater and disconnect the spark plug or battery
Remove the spool cover
Take out the old spool or remaining line
Cut the new trimmer line to the correct length
Insert the line into the spool or head as directed by the model
Wind the line tightly and evenly in the correct direction
Leave the required amount of line exposed
Thread the line ends through the eyelets or exit holes
Reinstall the spool and cover
Pull the line to confirm it feeds properly
Reconnect the spark plug or battery and test the weedeater
