Open Instagram and create a Story
Add your photo or video
Tap the sticker icon
Select the Mention sticker
Type the person’s Instagram username
Choose the correct account from the list
Place the mention sticker where you want it
Tap Your Story to post
To tag someone with text, type @username in the Story
To tag someone after posting, edit and repost the Story if needed
