File the top coat lightly to break the seal
Soak cotton pads in acetone
Place the soaked cotton on each nail
Wrap each fingertip with foil or use nail clips
Leave on for 10 to 15 minutes
Check one nail and gently lift softened polish with a cuticle pusher or orangewood stick
Rewrap and soak longer if the polish is still firm
Remove remaining residue with a cotton pad and acetone
Buff lightly if needed
Wash hands and apply cuticle oil or hand cream
