Open the window fully
Locate the screen tabs, springs, or latches
Push the screen frame toward the spring side, if applicable
Lift the screen out of the window frame
Tilt one edge inward and remove the opposite edge
Pull the screen straight out carefully
Set the screen aside on a flat surface
Reinstall by reversing the removal steps
