Open the window fully
Locate the screen tabs, clips, or latches
Push the tabs inward or release the latches
Tilt the screen slightly
Pull the screen frame toward you
Lift the screen out of the window opening
If there are springs or pins, compress or disengage them first
Set the screen aside carefully
