How To Tape An Ankle With KT Tape?

Clean and dry the ankle and foot

Cut two long strips of KT Tape

Round the corners of each strip

Sit with the ankle at a 90-degree angle

Anchor the first strip on the outside of the foot

Bring the tape up and around the ankle

Apply light stretch through the middle of the strip

Finish the strip without stretch above the ankle

Anchor the second strip on the inside of the foot

Bring the tape up and around the ankle in the opposite direction

Apply light stretch through the middle of the second strip

Finish the strip without stretch above the ankle

Rub the tape to activate the adhesive

Check that the tape feels secure but not tight

Remove the tape if there is numbness, tingling, or increased pain
