Press Command + Option + Esc
Select the app you want to close
Click Force Quit
Open Activity Monitor from Applications > Utilities
Use Activity Monitor to view and manage running processes
Search for a process in the Activity Monitor search bar
Select a process
Click the Stop button to quit or force quit it
