Relieve fuel system pressure
Locate the fuel pressure test port
Wear safety glasses and gloves
Connect a fuel pressure gauge to the test port
Turn the ignition key to ON without starting the engine
Read the pressure on the gauge
Compare the reading to the manufacturer specification
Start the engine and check running pressure
Rev the engine slightly and observe pressure changes
Turn off the engine and watch for pressure drop
Disconnect the gauge
Reinstall the test port cap or fuel line
Check for fuel leaks
Clear any diagnostic trouble codes if needed
