Place the frozen lobster tails in the refrigerator
Thaw for 8 to 24 hours, depending on size
Keep them on a plate or in a shallow dish to catch drips
For faster thawing, place the sealed tails in a bowl of cold water
Change the water every 30 minutes
Thaw until flexible and no longer icy, usually 30 to 60 minutes
Do not thaw at room temperature
Do not use hot water
Cook immediately after thawing
