Charge both phones and connect them to Wi-Fi
On the old phone, back up data to Google Account
On the new phone, sign in with the same Google Account
During setup, choose to copy apps and data from the old phone
Use a USB-C cable if prompted for a faster transfer
Follow the on-screen steps to transfer contacts, photos, messages, and apps
Install and open Google Photos to sync pictures and videos
Use Google Drive to restore files and documents
Use Samsung Smart Switch if both phones are Samsung
Use the manufacturer’s transfer app if available
Transfer WhatsApp using the app’s built-in chat transfer option
Move music, downloads, and other files with a file manager or computer
Check that contacts, calendars, and app data are synced on the new phone
Remove the old phone from your Google Account after transfer if needed
