Make sure both iPhones are signed in to the same Apple ID if you want to use Quick Transfer
Connect both iPhones to Wi-Fi and keep Bluetooth turned on
On the new iPhone, go to Settings
Tap Cellular or Mobile Data
Tap Add eSIM or Add Cellular Plan
Tap Transfer From Nearby iPhone if available
Follow the on-screen prompts on both iPhones
Approve the transfer on the old iPhone
Wait for the eSIM to activate on the new iPhone
If prompted, restart both iPhones
If Quick Transfer is not available, contact your carrier for a QR code or activation details
On the new iPhone, go to Settings
Tap Cellular or Mobile Data
Tap Add eSIM or Add Cellular Plan
Tap Use QR Code
Scan the carrier-provided QR code
Follow the activation prompts
If needed, remove the eSIM from the old iPhone after the new one is active
On the old iPhone, go to Settings
Tap Cellular or Mobile Data
Tap the eSIM plan
Tap Remove Cellular Plan
Confirm removal only after the new iPhone is working properly
