Back up your old iPhone to iCloud or a computer
Turn on your new iPhone and place it near your old iPhone
Follow the Quick Start prompts on both devices
Choose Transfer from iPhone or Download from iCloud Backup
Keep both iPhones connected to Wi-Fi and power until the transfer finishes
Sign in with your Apple ID on the new iPhone
Enter your passcode when prompted
Transfer your apps, settings, photos, messages, and data
If using a computer backup, connect the new iPhone to the computer and restore the backup in Finder or iTunes
Keep both devices nearby until all content finishes syncing
Check that photos, contacts, messages, apps, and accounts transferred correctly
Re-download any items that did not transfer automatically
Remove the old iPhone from your Apple ID if you are done using it
