Open the Messages app
Start a new conversation or open an existing one
Tap the Apple Pay button or the Apple Cash icon
Enter the amount you want to send
Tap Pay
Confirm the payment with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode
Wait for the recipient to accept the money if required
To receive money, open the payment in Messages and accept it
Make sure Apple Cash is set up in Wallet before sending or receiving money
