Open the Messages app or Wallet app on your iPhone
Start or open a conversation with the person you want to pay
Tap the Apple Pay button or the Apple Cash icon
Enter the amount you want to send
Tap Pay
Double-click the side button and authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode
Wait for the payment to be sent
If needed, add money to Apple Cash first in Wallet
Make sure both you and the recipient have Apple Cash available in a supported region
Confirm the recipient’s contact information before sending
