Open the Facebook app or website
Go to Settings & privacy
Select Settings
Tap or click Notifications
Choose the notification type you want to change
Turn off push notifications
Turn off email notifications
Turn off SMS notifications
Adjust app, post, comment, tag, friend request, and group notifications individually
On mobile, also check device notification settings
Save your changes if prompted
