Open the Google app or Chrome
Tap your profile icon (top right)
Tap Settings
Tap Google Assistant or Gemini (depending on what you see)
Turn off the relevant options (e.g., “Gemini”/“Assistant”/“Use with voice”/“Personal results”)
In Google Assistant settings, turn off “Assistant” and “Hey Google”/“Voice Match”
In your device settings, open Apps
Select Google
Tap Permissions and disable microphone and any other AI-related permissions you don’t want
Disable notifications for the Google app
In Chrome, open Settings
Tap Privacy and security
Review and turn off “Improve your experience”/related personalization options if available
