Flip the Ring/Silent switch on the side of the iPhone so the orange color is not showing
Open Control Center and tap the Bell icon if Silent Mode is enabled
Go to Settings
Tap Sounds & Haptics
Turn off Silent Mode if the option is available on your iPhone model
Increase the Ringer and Alerts volume if needed
