Open Settings
Click Device
Click Touchpad
Turn off Tap-to-click
If needed, open Chrome browser and type chrome://flags
Search for touch-related flags
Disable any touch input features if available
Restart the Chromebook
If your Chromebook has a touchscreen and you want to disable it completely, use a developer mode or admin policy method if supported
If you only want to prevent accidental touches, use a mouse and disable tap-to-click in touchpad settings
