Enter the Apple ID and password used to set up Activation Lock
If you forgot the Apple ID password, reset it at iforgot.apple.com
If the device was purchased used, ask the previous owner to remove it from their Apple ID
Have the previous owner sign in to iCloud.com/find and remove the device from their account
Have the previous owner turn off Find My on the device if they still have access
Contact Apple Support with valid proof of purchase
If the device is managed by an organization, contact the organization’s IT administrator
Avoid third-party unlock services or tools
If you cannot provide proof of ownership, Activation Lock cannot be removed by Apple
