Open Finder
Go to the Applications folder
Drag the app to the Trash
Empty the Trash
Use Launchpad
Click and hold the app icon until it jiggles
Click the X button if it appears
Delete leftover files in Library folders if needed
Check Application Support
Check Caches
Check Preferences
Remove the app from the Dock if it is still there
