Open the Aadhaar PDF file
Enter the password in the format:
First 4 letters of your name in CAPITAL letters
Followed by your birth year in YYYY format
Example: NAME1990
If the name has fewer than 4 letters, use the full name in CAPITAL letters
If the Aadhaar is for a child, use the name as printed on the Aadhaar card
Make sure the name matches the one registered with Aadhaar
Try the password without spaces or special characters
If it still does not open, verify the exact spelling and birth year
Use a PDF reader that supports password-protected files
