Open Instagram
Go to your Home feed
Find the muted account’s story in the story tray
Tap and hold the story
Select Unmute
If you do not see Unmute, go to the profile
Tap Following
Tap Mute
Turn off Stories
If needed, refresh the app or restart Instagram
