Open the App Store (iPhone/iPad) or Google Play Store (Android)
Search for the app you want to update
Tap Update (iPhone/iPad) or Update (Android)
If multiple updates are available, tap Update All (if shown)
If prompted, sign in with your account
Connect to Wi‑Fi if needed and keep the device plugged in if possible
On iPhone/iPad: Go to Settings > App Store > turn on App Updates (optional)
On Android: Open Google Play Store > tap your profile icon > Manage apps & device > Updates available (optional)
Restart the device if the update doesn’t start
Check available storage (delete unused items if low)
Verify the correct date/time settings (automatic if possible)
If the app still won’t update, uninstall and reinstall it
