Open Windows Settings
Go to Windows Update
Select Advanced options (if available)
Select Optional updates
Check for Driver updates
Select the driver updates you want
Click Download and install
Restart your PC if prompted
Press Windows + X
Select Device Manager
Expand the device category (e.g., Network adapters, Display adapters)
Right-click the device
Select Update driver
Choose Search automatically for drivers
Follow the prompts and restart if prompted
Download drivers from the device manufacturer’s website (PC/laptop model or component model)
Download the latest driver package for your exact Windows version (x64/x86)
Run the installer and follow the on-screen steps
Restart your PC if prompted
Use manufacturer apps (if available)
Install and open the app (e.g., Dell Update, HP Support Assistant, Lenovo Vantage, ASUS Armoury Crate)
Check for driver updates
Install available updates
Restart if prompted
If a driver update fails or causes issues, roll back
Open Device Manager
Right-click the device
Select Properties
Go to the Driver tab
Select Roll Back Driver (if available)
Restart your PC
