Open the device Settings
Go to General
Select Software Update
Install the latest system update
Restart the device if prompted
Open the App Store
Search for your keyboard app
Update the keyboard app if an update is available
Go to Settings
Select Keyboard
Enable the updated keyboard if needed
Remove and re-add the keyboard if it still does not update
Check the keyboard app’s own settings for emoji or language updates
Clear the keyboard app cache if the app supports it
Reinstall the keyboard app if the issue continues
