Install and open Garmin Express on your computer

Sign in to your Garmin account
Select your watch in Garmin Express
Check for updates
Follow the prompts to download and install available updates
Keep the watch connected until the update is complete
Restart the watch if prompted
For app-based updates, open Garmin Connect on your phone
Sync the watch with Garmin Connect
Keep Bluetooth enabled and the watch near your phone during sync
Wait for the update to finish on the watch
Check the watch settings or system information to confirm the update version
