Install Garmin Express on your computer
Connect your Garmin device to the computer with a USB cable
Open Garmin Express
Add your device if prompted
Check for available updates
Select Install All or choose the updates you want
Keep the device connected until the update finishes
Restart the Garmin device if prompted
For watches with Wi-Fi, connect to Wi-Fi and sync through Garmin Connect or Garmin Express
For smartphone updates, open the Garmin Connect app and sync the device
For map updates, use Garmin Express and ensure enough storage space is available
