Visit the official NSDL/Protean or UTIITSL PAN correction portal
Select the option for PAN card correction or change in PAN details
Fill in the PAN correction application form
Enter your current PAN number and personal details
Select the field for name change
Enter the correct name exactly as per supporting documents
Upload proof of identity and proof of name change
Submit supporting documents such as marriage certificate, gazette notification, passport, Aadhaar, or other valid ID proof
Pay the applicable processing fee
Submit the application online or print the form and send it by post if required
Note the acknowledgment number for tracking
Verify the details and complete e-KYC or physical verification if required
Wait for the request to be processed
Download the updated e-PAN or receive the corrected PAN card by post
