Use the toilet first
Wipe with toilet paper if needed
Straddle or sit on the bidet according to its design
Adjust the water temperature if available
Start with low water pressure
Aim the water at the area to be cleaned
Wash until clean
Adjust position as needed
Turn off the water
Pat dry with toilet paper or a towel
Wash your hands after use
