Read the bread maker manual
Measure ingredients accurately
Add liquids to the bread pan first
Add dry ingredients next
Add yeast last, keeping it separate from liquid
Place the bread pan into the machine
Select the desired loaf size
Select the desired crust setting
Choose the correct bread cycle
Close the lid
Start the machine
Do not open the lid during mixing, rising, or baking
Check the dough during the first mixing stage if needed
Remove the bread when the cycle ends
Use oven mitts to handle the hot pan
Turn the bread out onto a cooling rack
Let the bread cool before slicing
Clean the bread pan and kneading blade after use
Unplug the machine when finished
