Place the pizza stone in a cold oven
Preheat the oven with the stone inside
Heat the stone for at least 30 minutes
Prepare the pizza on a peel or parchment paper
Dust the peel with flour or cornmeal if needed
Slide the pizza onto the hot stone
Bake until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted
Use a pizza peel or spatula to remove the pizza
Let the stone cool completely before cleaning
Clean the stone with a dry brush or damp cloth only
Avoid soap and soaking the stone in water
Store the stone in a dry place
