Empty the washing machine
Remove any laundry, detergent, and fabric softener from the drum and dispensers
Place one Affresh tablet directly into the washer drum
Do not put the tablet in the detergent dispenser unless the product instructions say to
Select the Clean Washer cycle if your machine has one
If there is no Clean Washer cycle, choose the hottest water setting and a normal wash cycle
Start the cycle
Let the cycle finish completely
Wipe away any residue or buildup inside the drum, lid, gasket, and dispensers if needed
Run an extra rinse cycle if any residue remains
Use once a month or as recommended by the product label and your washer manufacturer
