Download Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) from a trusted source
Save the file to your PC
Disconnect the internet
Download the correct new driver in advance
Create a system restore point
Boot into Safe Mode
Run DDU as administrator
Select the device type
Select the driver manufacturer
Choose the cleanup option
Click the clean and restart option
Let the PC restart
Install the new driver after reboot
Reconnect the internet after installation
