Fill the water reservoir with fresh water
Turn on the machine and let it heat up
Grind fresh coffee beans to a fine espresso grind
Place the portafilter in the machine
Add ground coffee to the portafilter
Distribute and tamp the coffee evenly and firmly
Lock the portafilter into the group head
Place a cup under the spout
Start the extraction
Stop the shot at the desired volume
Steam milk if needed
Clean the portafilter, basket, and drip tray after use
Turn off the machine when finished
