Check the expiration date and package for damage before use
Open the package carefully to avoid tearing the condom
Make sure the condom is the right size and is intended for sexual use
Put the condom on when the penis is fully erect and before any genital contact
Pinch the tip to leave space for semen
Roll the condom all the way down to the base of the penis
